The Story Behind Doggone Deal
Hi! I'm AJ, the founder of this app. Doggone Deal was inspired by the memory of my sweet dog, Serena. In fact, that's an illustration of Serena on the Doggone Deal card.
Serena taught me to truly appreciate animals. When I was a single woman living alone in a new city, Serena was my best friend and protector. I would have given her the world if I could, but I didn't have much money and I had to budget. Quite honestly, I was surprised by how expensive pet ownership could get, especially as Serena got older and developed more dietary and medical needs.
Doggone Deal is the discount membership card I wish had existed back then. It's my hope that by making pet ownership affordable, more pet parents will be able to treat their fur babies, fin babies, feather babies and scale babies. They deserve all of our love!
